How To Take A Course at LMMU
We have many types of courses available at LMMU. All of the courses are accessed through The Class interface. Click Here to login now.
CREATING AN ACCOUNT / LOGIN
If you have not created an account with LMMU, you can do so at The Class homepage. There you will see a section that says, "Is this your first time here?" A list of instructions on how to create an account follows along with a button labeled, "Create new account."
If you have created an account with us before, you will also use this page to login. There is also a button to login in as a guest, but guest logins have very limited access. Occassionally, there are test courses available for guests, but guests can not participate in forums or use many of The Class features.
ENROLLING IN COURSES
Once you login, you will be presented with a list of courses available. You can click on any course to enroll or you can read more about the course by clicking on the information link on the right of each course name.
Once you click on a course to enroll, you willbe directed to a page with the class description, teacher name, class cost, and a button to send payment via Paypal.When you click this button, you are sent to Paypal so you can process payments to Stockard & Associates, Inc., our founding and parent company. Once you complete payment processing, you will be redirected to The Class to complete enrollment.
PARTICIPATING IN YOUR COURSES
Each time you login after you have enrolled in classes, you will be directed to a screen that shows the couses you are enrolled in, a main menu with various forum and other important links, and a calendar that shows upcoming events, assignments, assessments, and other required items for your classes. In order to go to each class, click on the course name in the "My Courses" list.
When you click on a course name, you are directed to the class interface for that course.Here you will see all of the modules setup by the teacher, including activities, upcoming events, adminstration, latest news, and course outline. The outline will appear slightly different for the different types of classes (i.e. weekly-based compared to topic-based), but each class will have information specifying the type of class, requirements for the course, grading scales, etc.
All information regarding each class will be contained in this interface. All interaction with other students and the teacher will be conducted here. Also, information about completing the course, certificates that may be issued, and other important information will be here. Please review our courses list for more information about programs, individual courses, and certificates issued at the completion of each course.
